OLD SAN JUAN

Ultimately I made it to Old San Juan! Now that I have sisters from all over the world here, in Puerto Rico it was even better. We had such a wonderful time, we made lasting memories, plus, it was a must to take a ton of pictures too!

I can't deny, it was better than what I had anticipated. It's rich in culture, colorful historical buildings, it has that pleasant environment. It's amusing just walking around and being welcomed by the locals. My world sisters and I witnessed one of the best sunrises here in Old San Juan. Every turn, every corner is selfie worthy. I took the time to appreciate the art and architecture. Some was familiar and some was distinctly Puerto Rico. So much fun to experience Old San Juan. I had the best time with the sweetest people in a beautiful place. Viejo San Juan.

ISLA MATA LA GATA

What a beautiful little island to get away from it all! I loved the boardwalk through the mangroves and the extensive dock to get on and off the boat. We spent a couple hours under the sun. It's a must to wear sunscreen to avoid sunburn and protect our skin. Thank God  least a few of us always carry one in our purse, and so we can share. We enjoyed the turquoise waters as far as the eyes can see. It was a magical place.

DORADO BEACH, A RITZ CARLTON-RESERVE

If you could see me then and now, you would know, I always find the beauty of mother nature fascinating. And Dorado Beach has captured my heart! 

Crystal clear water, the sand is softly golden with just the right comforting warmth. To rest on the beach feels like a cosy hug, one only matched by the sunshine filled sky. Accompanied by delicious food and beverages, which deeply became the highlight of my days in the Caribbean. 

I spent most of my time hanging out by the pool and enjoying beachside waves, munching complimentary hummus with fresh salsa, tortilla chips and customized cold beverages. Exactly what we all needed after being in tight schedule for over two weeks as the finale approaches.

Exceptional level of service, exquisite landscaping. Just like Belinda Carlisle' song that goes "Ooh, Heaven is a place on Earth.", this place is truly is! Overall I would certainly return and am very glad I went here. I have amazing photos and memories and have already recommended this place to my family and friends. This is the kind of place you wouldn’t want to leave.
