My journey in Miss world

My journey in Miss World started in New Delhi, in which we stayed for one week in Ashok Hotel. I feel so grateful that i got the chance to experience this and met a lot of beautiful and amazing people here in India.

When I first arrive in New Delhi here, I was so grateful because the moment that I have been waiting for finally has come to be able to represent my beloved country Indonesia in the 71st miss World, the people very welcoming, very helpful regardless I have many luggage, weather is very nice, its chill.

We had the time to introduce and getting to know each other better when we had the opening festival and dinner. We had amazing Indian food!

During our stay in New Delhi, we had a lot of exciting events. One of our activity was coming to Mahatma Gandhi Burial. We also visit the museum that tells the story of his life... where we all learn about his life story of fighting for the truth in a peaceful way.

Mahatma Gandhi way of living has been an inspiration to many of us around the world. His life is his message, and he has inspired us to live in peace, love, simplicity. And one of many of my favorite quotes from Mahatma Gandi is “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”

Continuing my journey, we experienced the fast tracks event such as Sports Challenge (in which i got into the top 8 from Asia) and also the Head to Head challenge, when i presented about my Beauty With a Purpose and and i got into the Top 25.

As the finalist of Head to Head Challenge, i was able to raise my concerns on world issue “Healthcare for All” at Bharat Mandapam G20 Summit Room, the very same room where the leaders of the G20 do the same in discussing the issue of the world. Through the discussion I learn a lot from everyone, each raising issue that needs to be tackled and the solutions that we can all do ♥️ Let’s all together join hands to make this world a better place!

We also got the chance to visit the Indian Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) where we discuss about Women’s Empowerment and Environmental Sustainability.

Last day in New Delhi, we had a closing dinner with Ashok Hotel and we enjoyed Indian traditional music. We danced, mingled and it was a night full of smile and laughter. Thank you so much Ashok Hotel and all the staffs, it was an unforgettable night.

And that was my journey in New Delhi! I am so excited to continue my journey in miss world in the city of dreams of bollywood, weather are warmer, can’t wait to explore more about the beauty of Mumbai.
