Break The Silence campaign continues to another cites. This time I came to Purwokerto, Central Java.
The message is clear: to share and encourage people and especially children dare to speak and have encourage to speak up.
The children who experienced sexual abuse must know who and where they seek for help. During my visit to Purworketo, I came to Susteran Junior High School where I met 300 students. I teach them how to prevent child sexual abuse and where part of the body that cannot touched by unknown people.
They need to know that because the child sexual abuse can happen anytime. The interesting part is the children are very active and very enthusiast to listen about this issue. I hope this campaign can help them to prevent child sexual abuse and they’re brave to speak up about what happened to them.
