The journey continues to the Island of God, Bali. Island with beautiful landscape and one of the most wonderful places on earth.
Each year million people come to this place and witness the wonderful Bali. More than 700,000 people called this place home. I came to Kumbasari market where I met Children of Labor Suwun. I team up with Lentera Bali Children Foundation for this project.
I found many surprising facts when a I came here. Many children have no access to education. They’re chose to worked selling some stuffs on the street. This kind of thing makes me more passionate to fight for their dreams, because the reality it’s very worrying.
Not only that, I found another worrying stuff, many teenagers choose to marry early to have a better future, which is wrong for me. I educated them to dare to speak up on what happened to them.
I give them the advice that there are so many institutions in Bali for them to inform or to report on what happened to them. I encourage them to fight for their education because that’s important thing for them.
I hope early marriage isn’t the answer for their problem, because dare to speak up is always the most important thing and I felt responsibility to fight for their rights.
