This is the final episode of my series #WomenOnAMission, and I have a very special guest who has played a vital role in my Miss World journey: the iconic, fashionable, and India's celebrated fashion designer, Falguni Peacock.

Over the past few months, I've been trying to make positive changes in my own little ways, just like Falguni, who has been creating so many positive changes in the space of fashion and creativity. Opening up about creating her own label to later joining her husband to create a much bigger brand, Falguni ShanePeacock, she said, "It's been 18 years since we launched the label, and 22 years since I know Shane, and ever since then it's been a roller coaster ride. I always knew that I would get into this, and I would want to achieve this for myself and both of us. It's just like when you have a great support system, an amazing partner, someone who understands you; it is just an amazing thing. We both had our separate labels, and then once we got married, we decided to merge and have just one label. We put all our energies into that one brand and make it big. So I think ever since then, it's just been like one thing after another leading to this day."

Falguni and Shane concurred their visions to build a huge fashion empire. I wanted to know how they manage to bring and create the atmosphere of positivity and work on that vision together. Responding to my query, Falguni said, "Well, one thing, which is clear between both of us, is that we are working towards the same goal, and when your goal is one, there are disagreements. There is no doubt about that. But that's always for the better, and eventually, something really amazing comes out of it. And this is what we both have realised that everyone's point of view holds importance. I think there is a valid point in every argument; it has always worked in favour of us. It's always better to have four hands than having two hands, so there's so much more you can do when you are together."

As we proceeded further in our conversation, I wanted everyone to learn about how Falguni managed to face and overcome her challenges. "No success comes without a challenge. And if you don't lose focus on something that you want really badly, you will always be willing to face any challenges. That's what we have done, we knew that we would face challenges, but the key is never to give up," she said and concluded with an inspiring and motivating message for the younger generation. "Hard work. You can never have a shortcut to that; you have to really work hard. If you want to achieve that goal, it's not going to come easy. Anyone who has been successful, from the biggest celebrity today, has had to work hard, not being led down by your failures, keeping at it and not giving up hope is what will achieve great success."
