Sustainable fashion has revolutionised the way fashion is perceived around the globe, as buyers become ever more aware of the profound environmental impact of the clothes we choose to buy. As a result, it has encouraged the use of locally produced, biodegradable fabrics, which have little to no adverse effects on the environment.

My fashion choices have always come with a sense of responsibility towards the planet, as some steps that we could take to do our bit for mother earth while keeping fashion sustainable in mind. 

The clothing industry accounts for ten per cent of global carbon emissions, and in the era of gas, the fashion where clothes are mass-produced — we do need to be more conscious about the fashion that we buy, consume and dispose of. I have been reading up on sustainable fashion, and some simple steps we all can take are buying less, buying better, and supporting brands that manufacture and distribute clothing — sustainably.
