A lehenga is one of the most beautiful Indian outfits to adorn, to celebrate the festivities of life. My latest traditional look is again by designer Falguni Shane Peacock. A beautiful an ivory based, mermaid cut, trail lehenga, adorned with pearl embroidery, cut beads, and detailed with 3D organza flowers. The outfit is styled with a full-sleeves blouse, and completed with a sheer cape with tassels. I opted for diamond jewellery by Razwada Jewels and rings and bracelets by Maya Sanghavi jewels. My hairdo and makeup is done by Savio John Pereira and Bianca Louzado, and beautiful photoshoots are done by Shreyans Dungarwal and assisted by Ashutosh Bagde and Ketan Gadkar.

I believe style is an expression of who you are. And I’m immensely proud of how Indian design and embroidery form a big part of the dressing culture here. This outfit is a modern-yet-traditional take on festive wear. India is a land of culture, festivals and diversity — what better way to celebrate the joys of life than in a lehenga?
