While the world celebrated women's day yesterday, I take this opportunity to express my joy of having met with some brilliant students, the future of our country, at Smt. Durgabai Deshmukh Govt. Women's Technical Training Institute and I thank the administration for their initiative, vision and mission to empower the young women of Telangana. 

Established in the year 2008, the institute aims to provide state-of-the-art technical education to students by imparting technical skills, soft skills and hands-on experience on the latest machinery, besides inculcating the core human values which enable them to become the best citizens of our country. 

Being an engineer myself, I know the importance of education and the skill set to help you attain a job and recognition at a global level. It was during one of my trips to Telangana that I visited the Smt. Durgabai Deshmukh Govt. Women's Technical Training Institute, along with Mrs. Divya Devarajan, IAS Special Secretary to Government and Commissioner, WDCW Dept. It indeed was a great learning and sharing experience.
