After the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic struck our country, there had been a rise in child abuse, including child marriage, child labour, abandoned children, and children orphaned — significant factors for the pandemic-induced poverty.
I worked with the Women Development and Child Welfare Department (WDCW) in my home state Telangana, which tirelessly works to protect and rescue children. I'm on a mission to use my title and platform to prevent and stop child sexual abuse with the help of my Beauty With A Purpose (BWAP) project 10-9-8.
My BWAP project is classified into three pillars:
— Promote child rescue hotline
— Raise funds to equip teams with rescue vehicles
— Create a sustainable ecosystem that facilitates the rescue and rehabilitation of vulnerable children.

I was driven to put my dream into action. I put my heart and soul into making my cherished mission success and was rewarded with the greatest recognition.
