My visit to SOS Children's village, Hyderabad, was extraordinary. I was welcomed with red roses by the children. SOS Children's village is a well-known NGO in Hyderabad which was established in 2003. It aims at helping children who are neglected or abandoned by their families due to their inability to meet their needs. It also looks after those who have lost their parents to death at a very young age.

Children here are nurtured by loving mothers and now have a family to call their own. I grew up with a strong desire to be a voice for the children, and following my national win, I wish to impact society with my Beauty With A Purpose project 1098.

It aims to promote the safety of the kids. I also helped launch a campaign, 'We Can' in association with the Hyderabad police, which aims at working towards preventing and stopping child sexual abuse in the state.

I had an absolutely heartwarming day interacting with the tiny souls — the children at SOS village. I'm ready to stop child sexual abuse through her project Beauty With A Purpose at the larger stage.
