A day spent with the kids at Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial TrustmoreVideos

I have come a long way with my mission towards preventing and stopping child sexual abuse in association with my Beauty With A Purpose project (BWAP) '10-9-8'. My efforts are to help make a difference. The memories of one such day, when I spent time with kids rescued and rehabilitated at Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust in Hyderabad, are still fresh in my mind.

During my visit to the NGO, I had the honour of spending quality time with the girl children who were victims of child marriage and child labour. Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust is a Non-Profit Organisation established by eminent leaders of India, including Mahatma Gandhi, Sri Vallabhbhai Patel, Thakkar Bapa, and others shortly after India's independence. And since its inception, the trust has grown in presence across multiple locations in India, serving the rural community with projects and activities to address women empowerment, sanitation, hygiene, child care, etc.

Take a look at some of the memorable moments of my visit:

I'm associated with the trust, and it works for women and girl children in the rural areas. They also have a childline centre in association with the government of Telangana, where they provide rescue and rehabilitation services for children in distress.

I have tried to do everything in my capacity towards my BWAP project '10-9-8', which is very close to my heart that aims at preventing and stopping child sexual abuse.
