Yes, and I couldn't be more thankful for all those who contributed towards my initiative understanding the dire need of the situation.

My Beauty With A Purpose (BWAP) project 1098 is classified into three pillars:

— Promote child rescue hotline

— Raise funds to equip teams with rescue vehicles

— Create a sustainable ecosystem that facilitates the rescue and rehabilitation of vulnerable children

While my entire team and I have been dedicating our time to promoting the child rescue hotline and organising rehabilitation facilities, a major challenge faced by the operation team over the past few months was the shortage of rescue vehicles. And so, I soon began a search for corporate sponsors who could help donate vehicles for this cause. In addition, I initiated a fundraiser for a Maruti Eeco rescue van as time sensitivity and the significance of a vehicle is crucial during a rescue operation.

When the team of rescue workers is alerted about a child in distress, they embark on rescue missions using public transport. This gave rise to several challenges-

a. Time: Child rescue cases are time-sensitive; they need immediate, prompt action

b. Location: Sometimes children need to be rescued from remote locations, not easily accessible by public transport

c. Safety and comfort: Rescued children are required to travel in public transport

With a vision to help and rescue every child in distress, in association with my BWAP project 10-9-8, I wish to prevent and stop abuse of children.

At the end of the fundraiser, we were able to accumulate ₹ 6,32,970, and I couldn't be more thankful to all who supported us.
