Growing up as a shy, curious child - I loved asking questions, I loved exploring new ways to connect with the world around me. It was this constant desire to seek knowledge that pushed me outside my comfort zone and gave me the courage to try something new! Whether it was talking to a stranger, pushing myself to speak on stage or volunteering at a local NGO - curiosity was at the heart of every decision.

My biggest encounter with curiosity happened when I auditioned for Miss India. After studying computer science and working at a financial software firm, deep down, I knew that I wanted to do more. I wanted to extend my work to deeper, more meaningful levels and that was when Miss India presented itself as an important vehicle.

After pouring all my energy into the beautiful process,I tasted success — a position in the Top 31 state winners of Femina Miss India, and a chance to represent my beautiful state, Telangana. I still remember watching Miss India as a young girl to understand what it truly stood for. I remember asking myself if it was about a beautiful girl walking down the ramp, or was it about the talent that she possessed or was it about a bigger purpose. 

I learned that it was about the value of this platform and what it holds for girls like me. I have learned a lot of lessons over the course of my journey. Winning the title of Miss India completely transformed my life and opened a whole new world of opportunities. The crown brought me closer to my purpose. It has given me a platform to connect with so many inspiring people, learn from them and use my voice to drive a change and combine beauty with a purpose.

Now I’m ready to represent India at the Miss World 2022, which will be held at Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, San Juan, Puerto Rico. I would like to thank the Miss India Organisation for being powerful support in my journey toward the Miss World crown.

Having the responsibility to represent India at Miss World and to be called as India on stage is a tremendous honour. Miss India has given me some of the most important experiences of my life, and with them grown and conquered more than I have thought I was capable of. With gratitude in my heart and excitement in my soul, I embark on the next chapter in this journey - Miss World ❤️
