My heart swells with pride as I represent my musical and spiritual motherland, India. I come from Hyderabad, where north meets south, where palaces, skyscrapers, languages and religions all collide in colourful celebration.

My close-knit family includes my precious grandmother and younger sister, who, along with my parents, nurtured my sense of wonder through arts and academies. This, along with my love for nature, yoga, reading, and meaningful relationships, helps me create a balance between my mind, body and soul.

I studied computer science and built a successful career around it. But deep down, I realised that I was not fulfilled because it was not personal success that I was creating.

My work with endangered children has taught me that I feel most beautiful when connected to an act of service. And it is this exact belief that brings me to Miss World. I send all of you love and light from India, and I can't wait to meet my fellow sisters again from across the world, in Puerto Rico.
