It was one of the most fantastic days of my life — the day of my homecoming. It felt surreal — the pour of warm greetings from all my well-wishers at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, at my arrival. I remember all my loved ones eagerly awaiting my arrival at the airport. I was dressed in Indian attire, a beautiful red saree chosen especially for this memorable day of my life.

It was a grand affair. I was surrounded by journalists eagerly waiting to know my inspiring journey. There was family and festivities.

After that, I experienced sheer exuberance and delight of meeting with the kids at Amanvedika Rainbow Home. I got an opportunity to share the inspiring story of my journey to the crown, with the children. Then, we landed at Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre, where I had a beautiful Indian traditional welcome followed by a press meet.

One of the best parts was visiting my college, Vasavi College of Engineering. I was felicitated during the ceremony and warmly welcomed with flowers from the faculty. I also landed myself with a significant opportunity to meet the inspiring entrepreneur and philanthropist, Pinky Reddy.

Another memory I have is that of capturing a powerful generational picture, which included my family's women through four generations! That picture is so close to my heart, and I will always cherish it.
