It was an emotional yet exciting day for me as I boarded the flight of my dreams. I went on to represent India at the Miss World 2021 pageant hosted in Coliseo de Puerto Rico San Juan, Puerto Rico. I was embarking on an incredible life-changing journey.

I wore the sash over my navy blue midi dress and draped the Indian tricolour around my shoulders; my heart was swelling with emotion and pride. I expressed my gratitude to everyone who had been a part of this chapter in my life, with folded hands. I received an overwhelming amount of love and support from family and friends. I still remember that charged moment, when I was waving the Indian tricolour flag high and bidding adieu at the Mumbai International airport.
