It was a momentous occasion as we had the nationwide launch of my Beauty With A Purpose (BWAP) project, 'Aashayein - The Power of Hope.' The event took place at the Adarsh Auditorium, Delhi Police Headquarters, during the cultural event 'Parvaaz – Limitless Dreams,' hosted by the Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS).
As Femina Miss India World 2022 and a Patron of Teach India, I was grateful to be the Guest of Honour. The Chief Guest for the event was Smt. Ritu Arora, President of PFWS.
During the event, PFWS signed an MoU with Teach India Foundation to teach soft skills to police family members, further empowering them. Smt. Ritu Arora emphasized the importance of empowering oneself to lead a life as per one’s dreams and ambitions.
The event also featured music and dance performances by the Delhi Police Orchestra and police wards. I had the opportunity to address the gathering and answer questions from the enthusiastic youngsters present.
I was honoured to host the official national launch of my dream project at the national capital, Delhi, in the esteemed presence of the capital’s protectors. 'Aashayein - The Power of Hope' aims to rebuild lives shattered during the Covid pandemic, especially focusing on children and the elderly, adding value to their lives as they overcome the aftermath of the pandemic.
