Explore 'Saving the Tigers: A Call to Preserve Majesty'βfrom 1905 protection to the stark reality of 5,500 wild tigers.
In 1905, tigers had a paradigm shift, shooting them was banned and anyone who missed me out must hold a special permit for shooting them. The majestic feline is under tough times facing a fast decline. In the last 150 years it was unfortunately possible to lose 95% of their natural distributional range. At the moment of 2023, the Global Tiger Forum showed us the fact that tiger population has been reducing cruelly, since only about 5,500 tigers are globally roaming in the forests.

India with an estimated 3700 tigers that prowl in the freedom of the wild is the one with the largest number of wild tigers. We cannot react only passively. The collective action is vital to save this symbolic species. Stay with us while opening up more merits of the preservation of the tigers for the preservation of our planet in general. #savethetiger
