My Visit to the United Nations Headquarters ahead of the Miss World competition.

It was such an important and enriching moment, visiting the UN Headquarters ahead of my trip to India. 

The headquarters holds the seats of the principal organs of the UN, including the General Assembly and the Security Council, but excluding the International Court of Justice, which is seated in The Hague.

The UN has a special focus on bringing attention to issues we face in the world and proactively engaging in action to address them. This theme was evident in the artifacts, galleries and information displays all around the headquarters. 

Of course, I had to find my country's flag- the Golden Arrowhead among the nations of the world. Looking forward to revisiting very soon!
