The fabric on my Guinean design is called “ Forêt Sacré”. The sacred forest loincloth is a fabric produced by Guinean weavers. More particularly, in the region of Forest Guinea, located in the extreme south-east of Guinea. To make this loincloth, vegetable dyeing techniques on textiles are used.
Théa Couture This model in particular is inspired by the young modern Guinean woman, attached to her culture and her heritage. It perfectly illustrates the woman I am today.
In addition, tradition dictates that dignitaries and personalities passing through Forest Guinea are honored with a sacred forest loincloth.
