Several months ago, we embarked on a path filled with hope at the Escuela Oficial Rural Mixta Sector Tahual, located in Aldea Barrios 1, San Antonio SuchitepĆ©quez. This community, marked by extreme poverty, has shown that with unity and effort, great things can be achieved. At this school, which started as a small storage room adapted by ourselves, we face enormous challenges: lack of a perimeter wall, deteriorated classrooms, and a kitchen that pollutes the school environment. But today, we are not alone. I, Jeimy Escobedo Reyes, Miss World Guatemala, returned to my roots to lead a project that seeks to transform this school into a safe and dignified space for the children. In collaboration with parents, teachers, and local allies, we have been working for several months on this great mission that will bring education and hope to every corner of SuchitepĆ©quez.
