Joséphine Baker was born in 1906 in USA. She is an icon of entertainment and resistance. Moving to France in the 1920s, she became famous for her exuberant performances and sensual dances, notably within the revue "La Revue Nègre". Josephine Baker broke racial barriers in Europe and became the first black woman to be an international star. She actively engaged in the French resistance during World War II, even becoming a secret agent. After the war, she continued to advocate for civil rights and the fight against racism. Joséphine Baker remains an emblematic figure in the history of entertainment and the fight for equality.
