Clémence Botino made the bold choice to honor Marie-Antoinette, a former queen of France from the 28th century.

Marie-Antoinette left a profound mark on history through her influence on the fashion and style of her time. As an iconic figure at the court of Versailles, she was not only admired for her beauty and elegance, but also criticized for her extravagance.
Despite the many criticisms against her, she played an important role in the promotion and dissemination of fashion, culture and the arts at the court of Versailles.
Her interest in fashion helped make France a benchmark for style and elegance across Europe. She also supported artists and artisans, thus contributing to the artistic development of her time. In addition, Marie-Antoinette was a loving and devoted mother to her children, seeking to provide them with a careful education despite the political pressures and tensions that weighed on the monarchy

To achieve the feat of combining history and modernity in the world of fashion, Clémence Botino called on two designers to combine their talents to create her national costume : Vanessa Boimond (@Manzel_by_vanessaboimond) et Smaïn Boutamtam (@boutamtam). Clémence Botino wanted a costume that broke the codes of the time in the image of the avant-garde that was Marie-Antoinette. By wearing a red and gold color, Clémence opted for tones that suit her complexion.Although the color red was favored over the blue dear to Marie-Antoinette, Clémence adopted certain accessories of the time such as the petticoat, jewelry or the basket dresses. This costume embodies the evolution of fashion through the ages, testifying to the capacity of history to inspire and influence contemporary trends. It symbolizes the perfect marriage between the grandeur of the past and the innovation of the present, offering a vibrant tribute to the legacy of Marie Antoinette.
