The 72nd Miss World Festival’s heritage itinerary continued with a mesmerizing exploration of Telangana’s spiritual legacy. Contestants from the European region embarked on an unforgettable journey to the iconic Ramappa Temple, seamlessly blending history with modern elegance. Organized by Telangana Tourism Department, the experience began with a ceremonial welcome at the UNESCO World Heritage Site—Ramappa Temple, also known as Rudreshwara Temple. Built during the 13th century under the Kakatiya dynasty, this architectural masterpiece stands as a testament to Telangana’s grandeur, with its intricately carved sculptures, lightweight floating bricks, and the precise craftsmanship of Kakatiya-era engineering. As evening settled in, the delegates were captivated by local artists’ performances, culminating in a spectacular light show that illuminated the temple’s majestic structure. To commemorate the experience, they were presented with handcrafted local gifts, celebrating Telangana’s rich artistic heritage. This spiritual journey was a true celebration of Telangana’s timeless traditions and cultural splendor, leaving a lasting impression on the Miss World contestants and bringing the beauty of faith and history to life. The grand finale of the 72nd Miss World will take place on May 31, at the @hitexexhibitioncentre. 📷 Telangana Government and Tourism Department. #MissWorld #72MissWorld #HeritageTour #TelanganaTourism #RamappaTemple #NarasimhaTemple #CulturalJourney #BeautyWithAPurpose
