Charity project Step into Life was among the 10 best projects of Miss World
When the coronavirus pandemic broke out in the Czech Republic, I spent this time in my hometown of Vrbno pod Pradědem. As a volunteer, I started to help in a local orphanage because they were having problems with teaching and education of the children. They were short of people, the children couldn't go to school. So I taught the children how to write, read, count, draw, play, do homework.

This work was new to me, often difficult because children bring very difficult issues from their families that are hard to understand unless we experience them. But most importantly, working with them brought me joy and meaning. I wanted to help them more, to spend time with them, to help them find their way.

I decided to start the Step into Life Foundation, which will be there for them. Every child needs love, care and an environment in which they can fully develop. We give children the motivation, determination and desire to build a fulfilling life. We strive to help children discover what they enjoy and discover their potential. At the same time, we teach them what life is all about. We want them to know what awaits them once they leave the orphanage.

I organize educational stays for children. Our educational stays teach children teamwork, relationship to the work-reward system, financial literacy and also mutual tolerance. Children try out different crafts and professions. We try to inspire and motivate them in finding their direction. At the same time, we teach them what life is all about. We want them to know what awaits them once they leave the orphanage. The stays take place annually and the children can go repeatedly. We give children from orphanages the opportunity to choose a better path to follow. We know that their path may be more difficult and challenging than others, but we also know that they can make it. We give children the motivation, determination and desire to build a fulfilling life. We strive to help children discover what they enjoy and discover their potential. In collaboration with directors and educators working in children's homes, we create further opportunities for children to develop and help them on their journey.
