Every day spent in Puerto Rico was special. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. I am grateful for all the new people I met and I have to be honest, you don't see many people with such open and warm hearts.

Of the trips I like to remember the El Yungue rainforest. Did you know that 20% of Puerto Rico's drinking water comes from this forest? Amazing that.

I remember the streets of Old Juan which were full of color and beautiful architecture but also music. When we visited the Capitol in San Juan, I was completely absorbed by the rich and diverse history of Puerto Rico. It was an honor to meet all the presidents, at least in a picture. The architecture of the capitol was majestic and massive. Definitely for me the most beautiful building we saw. We ended the tour with a delicious lunch and the rhythms of Puerto Rican music. Plena is my favorite!

I must also not forget the mangrove island of Mata la Gata on the southwest coast of Puerto Rico. I can't imagine a better place to have lunch together.

I can't wait for our return to Puerto Rico.
