For my Beauty with a Purpose project I chose to support animals, especially dogs and cats.
Due to COVID-19, the situation got worse as people lost their jobs and income so could no longer afford to take care of their animals anymore leading to a high number of stray dogs.
A Beauty with a Purpose project was started by Miss World Curacao 2019, Sharon Meijer which focused on reducing the number of stray animals as much as possible.
I have been contributing to my local animal shelter by talking the Minister of Economy and Tourism and collecting money.
