Last night, I had the privilege of joining the Miss World organization and delegates from around the world at the press release for the Tadoba Festival in Maharashtra, where we marked the commencement of the "SAVE THE TIGER" campaign initiated by the Honourable Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar. Representing the beautiful Caribbean Island of Curacao, a place where tigers don't roam, my commitment to global wildlife conservation extends beyond geographical boundaries.

Maharashtra, with its rich biodiversity, is a crucial haven for the Bengal tiger, facing imminent threats from habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict. The Tadoba Festival, scheduled for March 1st to 3rd, acts as a global rallying point, fostering international solidarity to address the urgent need for tiger conservation.

In my role as Miss World Curacao, I feel a deep connection to the environment, recognizing the universal significance of diverse ecosystems. This campaign is more than just about protecting a single species; it symbolizes our shared responsibility to safeguard biodiversity and the delicate balance of nature.
