Miss World Colombia Honored with the Ambassador for Peace Award: A Commitment to Hope and Global Unity
Standing before an audience to accept the Ambassador for Peace Award, I was overwhelmed with gratitude and reflection. This honor wasn't just a recognition of my work as Miss World Colombia but a testament to the mission that lies close to my heart—planting seeds of hope and peace every single day. It's a mission that has been profoundly shaped by the "Beauty with a Purpose" philosophy, a guiding principle that I am incredibly proud to be part of. This philosophy has not only inspired me but has also been the driving force behind my efforts to make a meaningful difference in the world.
Embracing the Beauty with a Purpose Mission
Since being crowned Miss World Colombia in 2022, I've dedicated myself to advocating for those most vulnerable, striving to provide hope and assistance wherever it's needed. My journey has taken me to over ten countries across four continents, where I've led humanitarian actions and witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of conflict and the absence of peace. Spending time with refugees from Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Colombia has opened my eyes to the harsh realities caused by conflict and the imperative need for compassion and solidarity.
Inspired by Collective Effort
I find hope in the collective actions of organizations like the Universal Peace Federation and the Miss World organization. Their remarkable work in striving for global peace and supporting humanitarian projects worldwide is a beacon of what can be achieved when we come together for a common cause. The Miss World organization, in particular, has been instrumental in raising awareness and funds, in support of humanitarian efforts in more than 100 countries. Being part of this family, embracing the philosophy of "Beauty with a Purpose," has inspired me every day, reinforcing the belief that true beauty is found in the purposeful pursuit of making the world a better place.
