I come from China. My name is  Kexin Xu. Thank you very much for the Miss World platform. Let me have an opportunity to show you the beauty of Peking Opera and show its unique charm and artistic value to the global audience.

It is an honor to introduce Peking Opera to you on the Miss World platform. Peking Opera is a treasure of Chinese culture and an important part of Chinese traditional culture. It is famous for its unique performing arts and profound historical heritage.

Speaking of Peking Opera, the history of Peking Opera for more than 200 years can't get around a surname - Tan. A hundred years ago, Tan Xinpei, known as the "King of the Lingjie" at the end of the Qing Dynasty, was the second generation of the ancestor of the Tan family and the founder of the first genre in the Peking Opera industry. There was a saying that "Silent and not Tan" and he also shot the first silent film 《Dingjun Mountain》in China.

For many years, I have been passionate about the research and promotion of traditional culture. In the continuous cooperation with Peking Opera artists, I have tried to integrate modern elements into Peking Opera performances to create novel and attractive art forms. Thus, innovation will attract more audiences, expand the audience of Peking Opera, and open up new paths for the development of art.

I once talked to Mr. Tan Zhengyan, a national first-class actor and a well-known Peking Opera performance artist. Tan Zhengyan is the seventh-generation direct descendant of the Tan family, because the power of art brings us together, and also because the same enthusiasm for charity makes us closer.

Mr. Tan Xinpei of the Tan family will do 70% of his annual income for public welfare. Mr. Tan Zhengyan has been supporting poor children for a long time and raising money for charity performances for terminally ill drama fans. The influence of charity has never been on the other side. As the Miss World China, I am deeply touched that perseverance from the stage to the stage is not only for the applause off the stage, but also for this responsibility and mission.

After I became the representative of the 71st Miss World China, I met outstanding representatives in different industries. Mr. Tan Zhengyan's views on traditional Chinese art and traditional virtues gave me a lot of inspiration. It was the persistence of my predecessors in art and charity that made more and more people also devote themselves to it.

As a member of Miss World, I will continue to pass on the power of beauty to more people, let people feel the charm and power of different cultures, and leave a solid mark on the road of philanthropy.

I look forward to seeing more and more Peking Opera spreaders on the world stage, and I look forward to the flower of culture blooming more brilliantly on the world stage.
