Rashana Hydes to represent the Cayman Islands at the 70th Miss World Final in Puerto Rico
Rashana Hydes was crowned Miss World Cayman Islands 2021 on 29th May from The Harquail Theatre. Rashana was crowned by her successor Miss World Cayman Islands 2019, Jaci Patrick.
Crowning of Miss World Cayman Islands 2021At the glistening event Rashana also won the Beauty with a Purpose, Multimedia, Best in Gown, Photogenic, Best in Interview and Top Model awards.
24-year-old Rashana from West Bay has a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management degree from the University of Central Florida and currently works as a Compliance and Treasury Assistant. She is a mental health advocate and has dedicated her Beauty with a Purpose project to this important cause.

LOUD Silent Voices is a Mental Health Support Group for the families and caregivers of those affected by mental illness. Rashana has been fundraising to create an assisted living facility which will be the first of its kind in the Cayman Islands. The facility will be a place where clients can receive the supportive care they need to be able to recover and heal. As well as fundraising to fund the assisted living home, Rashana also raises funding to go towards resources and training for both caregivers and patients.
