Beauty Through Her Eyes is a collection of images submitted by each country.

A rare group of people, most precious to my heart. With 4 generations, depicting our vast global ancestry, as I gaze upon this image, I can see God’s masterful art. Pictured here, are our older Caymanian women passing on the beautiful art of Silver Thatch Plaiting. This is a tradition that is unique to our Caymanian culture and while it is used as a source of income, it also serves as a form of Mental Therapy. The repetitive, rhythmic movement is similar to meditation and can be quite therapeutic and grounding. So even with our picturesque beaches, amazing scuba diving, wonderous flora and fauna, it is the PEOPLE of my islands that I find most beautiful!
