"Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come." - Proverbs 31-25 KJV
Yesterday we had our interviews. Before we began, a few of the girls and I said a prayer and sure enough it was great.
My interview was such a nice and pleasant conversation. Not an interview at all, but simply an opportunity to share a bit more about my story.
I'm grateful that I got to share how great God has been to me.
I'm not supposed to be here. After car accidents, engine issues and an engine fire during flight school, I should not be on this earth. However, God isn't through with me yet.
The child who was told she wasn't smart, obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Aviation Management with Flight. The child who was told, "you're just a girl," became a pilot and a commissioned officer.
I'm the only female seated at many tables.
The tomboy who became Miss World Cayman Islands.
The amazing thing about the God I serve is that nothing in his plan makes sense. I'm a living, breathing, walking paradox, and I hope that I can continue to inspire and show others that when God is in control - there's NOTHING you cannot do.
