FinPowered's Collaboration with the Canadian Centre for Women’s Empowerment

Miss World Canada 2020, Svetlana Mamaeva volunteers as a Financial Education Ambassador for the Canadian Centre for Women’s Empowerment (CCFWE), a national organization dedicated to empowering domestic violence and economic abuse survivors through advocacy, education, mentorship, economic empowerment, and policy change. 

Domestic abuse is closely linked to financial abuse, with 95% of domestic violence survivors also experiencing financial abuse by their partners. In collaboration with CCFWE, FinPowered provides women with the resources to develop and achieve economic independence.
