Training to be Fittr
Dive in for a snapshot of my fitness training for Miss World
My training sessions with Jitendra Chouksey, a founder of Fittr, are a dynamic blend of intensity, learning, and unexpected connections. Though the nutrition plan and specific training regime changed as I gained strength here is what a typical training session looked like. Each day kicks off with a video call, where we begin with essential stretching to prevent injuries, followed by a 2-minute light jog to get the blood flowing.
The core of our workout is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session, where we dive into 5 sets of "hot feet" for a minute, complemented by 30 push-ups and 50 jump squats, repeated across 3 sets. This not only tests my endurance but also enhances my strength.
We then incorporate free weights for shoulder presses, stiff leg deadlifts, and calf raises, focusing on building muscle. The session wraps up with targeted ab workouts, including leg lifts and bicycles, to strengthen the core.
Hydration is key, with about 1 liter of water consumed throughout to stay energized and aid recovery. But it's not all sweat and strain; JC even introduced me to Hindi phrases like "shukriya" (thank you) and how to count from 1 to 10, adding a cultural exchange to our physical training.
This week, I'll be competing in the fitness and sports challenges at Miss World, where I'll put all the training, dedication, and hard work into practice. These challenges are not just a test of physical strength but also a showcase of determination, resilience, and the spirit of competition that Miss World embodies. I invite you to cheer me on and follow my journey as I take on this exciting part of the Miss World competition. Your support means the world to me, and together, we can celebrate the beauty of fitness, the power of perseverance, and the joy of pursuing our dreams. Let's make this experience unforgettable!
