Project Tiger is an Indian government project launched on April 1, 1973 and aimed at protecting the Bengal Tiger. For this to do, it supports and coordinates local projects in order to maintain a viable population of tigers in their natural environment, particularly in Wildlife Sanctuaries.    Today we were immersed in the #savethetiger campaign with the @missworld organization and a special guest, Honorable Minister @sudhir.mungantiwar, the CEO of the Miss World Organization @thejuliamorley and the reigning @missworld @karolinabielawska.

Shri Sudhir Sachchidanand Mungantiwar, Minister for Forests, Cultural Affairs and Fisheries in Maharashtra Government states, "The Tadoba festival stands as a testament to our commitment to preserving our natural heritage while fostering sustainable development. Under the leadership of Shri Sudhir Mungantiwar, the initiative to establish an airport near Tadoba has been undertaken. This forward-thinking endeavour aims to stimulate tourism, bolster industrial development, and address naxalism, all while ensuring the preservation and safeguarding of wildlife habitats.
