In the year 2022, I continued with the actions in favor of the fight against Hansen’s disease/leprosy.
I participated in events in the cities of Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and São Luís, where we achieved real advances in our quest.
As Miss World Brazil, I am having a voice and an opportunity to join forces and seek rights for those people who need to be heard and deserve dignified conditions to face their own battles. Leprosy is a disease that still has great stigma and prejudice and cannot be forgotten.
The treatment is free in the public health system and our country ranks second in the world in number of new cases. Do not neglect social causes! We need to do our part.
