I had the honor and privilege to be hosted by The President of Botswana His Excellency Mokgweetsi E. K. Masisi and The First lady of Botswana Mma Atsile, for brunch at the State House.
Miss Botswana being Welcomed By the President and First Lady into the State House It was an amazing affair filled with well wishes for my journey back to Puerto Rico to Finally walk the center stage in hopes of representing Botswana and soon the world as Miss World 2022.
If I was to tell the younger Palesa that she had just came back home from attending a brunch hosted by the President of Botswana and The First Lady at the state house in her honor, She would laugh and told me to stop dreaming.
But I stand here and say Dream Young Child. Dream about life’s infinite possibilities. Dream about walking into places you have never set foot , conversing with amazing people you never knew before and daring to give life your best shot.
