Kedist was born in Ethiopia and was adopted from an orphanage at the age of 10. She trained as a stylist and is currently working as a model. She has ambitions to become an Entrepreneur and set up a charity caring for orphans. 

‘When I look at myself as a child, I was very courageous, brave and kind. I still am that same person. I am always happy and polite and helpful to people. My proudest moment in life was taking care of my dying mother and younger siblings when I myself was only a child.’
