St. Peters & Paul's Catholic Church in Long Island, Bahamas was designed in 1939 by the late Father Jerome Hawes. In The Bahamas, Beauty and Purpose are found in our spirituality. We are resilient people of great faith and we acknowledge that the natural beauty that surrounds us is truly a gift from God. Our nation is the perfect blend of the rhythm of Africa and the melody of Europe, however our spirituality is what brings it all together and is at the center of who we are as a people.
