Tonight, I had the honour of wearing this beautiful creation by @gunidu.designer.wear , inspired by the water lily (Thambura), a flower that beautifully represents resilience, grace, and the strength to rise. I love how every element of this gown tells a part of that story. From the sculptural hand-layered petals to the flowing silk organza and thousands of individually placed crystals, every detail was carefully brought to life. I’m so grateful to everyone who brought this vision to life, and especially to Gunindu for creating something so beautiful and meaningful for me. 🤍✨

Representing Sri Lanka with pride ❤️
For Round 1 of the Head to Head challenge, I wanted to wear something that felt closely connected to home. This Sri Lankan inspired creation beautifully reflects our culture, nature and heritage in every way. 🤍🇱🇰 I’m immensely proud to be able to carry yet another iconic representation of home with me on this journey.

Today’s run meant more to me than simply crossing a finish line. 💗
Breast cancer touches the lives of so many women and families around the world. Behind every diagnosis is a woman with her own story, a family standing beside her, and people hoping and praying for more time together. Being part of this Charity Run reminded me how important it is to use our voices for things that truly matter, to encourage women to be aware of their health, to prioritise regular screening, and to understand the importance of early detection. Today, I ran for the women still fighting, for the survivors who continue to inspire us, and for the families who never stop showing up. Grateful to have shared this moment with so many incredible women and to be part of a message of awareness, hope and strength. 🎀 We ran with purpose. And we ran together.

Nha Trang, our second stop on this beautiful journey ✨
For the Miss World Welcome Party, I had the honour of wearing this stunning couture creation by @njirathnayake, inspired by Sri Lanka’s national flower, the Nil Manel, in its beautiful magenta variety. The rich magenta and deep rose tones, sculptural silhouette and cascading petal-like ruffles beautifully reflect the form of the flower, while the artisanal crush-dye handwork adds a unique touch to the piece. More than just a gown, this design carries a little piece of home with me representing the strength, resilience, clarity and grace of Sri Lanka, reimagined through a contemporary lens. ✨
