National Science Week is an annual celebration featuring a diverse array of both in-person and online events, virtual tours, DIY science activities, and more, taking place throughout Australia from 13 to 21 August. As a Biomedical Science student, my profound passion lies in sharing knowledge, particularly with upcoming generations.

Amid the challenges posed by the Covid-19 Pandemic, which ushered in the world's lengthiest lockdown, many Australian children found themselves confined at home, unable to engage in experiments or explore laboratories as they typically would. In an effort to sustain and kindle the curiosity for science among these youngsters, I took the initiative to devise simple, at-home experiments. These activities not only provided an engaging distraction during this challenging time but also aimed to offer educational insights for both children and parents alike.

My Science Week festivities for Variety involved virtually sharing an experiment each day with Variety and their families.
