The 72nd Miss World Festival is officially open and I am incredibly excited to finally share with you my National Costume - an ode to the Aussie farmer. The Australian outback is tough, beautiful, and real, just like the people who live and work on this land. Our farmers are the backbone of the country. They’re resilient, humble, and true blue through and through. This look is my tribute to them. The details in the outfit all mean something: the golden wattle and gum nuts in the hat represent growth and home, the wattle being our national flower. The snakeskin belt nods to the grit and edge of the bush. The boots are a symbol of hard work, long days, and strength in every step. None of this would be possible without the generous support of Ringers Western.
