I recently came across an AIESEC post on LinkedIn about a teaching opportunity in Medchal, Telangana. Although I’ve always dreamed of working abroad as a teacher, I was initially hesitant because I wasn’t familiar with the culture there. However, one of Anudi’s videos completely changed my perspective. She beautifully described India as a "home away from home" and even this includes pictures highlighting the striking similarities between India and Sri Lanka. That visual connection truly resonated with me and gave me the confidence I needed. Thanks to that video, I now feel fully ready and excited to embrace this opportunity—both to work and to explore the rich culture of India. I’m wholeheartedly looking forward to this journey.
