Anudi Gunasekara, crowned Miss World Sri Lanka 2024, is recognized not only for her beauty but also for her academic achievements and social activism. She holds a BA (Hons) in International Studies from the University of Kelaniya and is the founder of ‘Saheli,’ a nonprofit organization aimed at combating period poverty in Sri Lanka . While there is no specific mention of her visiting the Seenigama Devol Devalaya, such a visit would align with her cultural roots and the traditions of seeking blessings before significant endeavors. However, without direct evidence, this remains speculative. For a glimpse of Anudi Gunasekara’s journey and representation at the Miss World pageant, you can watch her performance at the Miss World Opening Ceremony :May 23, 2025
