“I am not just a voice for change—I am part of the change.” My name is Lachaeveh Davies, a proud graduate in Development Communication from the University of Makeni, a climate change advocate, and a beauty queen with a mission. From walking the stage as Miss Freetown 2024 and Miss University of the North, to leading community projects that promote agricultural sustainability, I have dedicated my journey to purpose, progress, and people. Rooted in the belief that “service to others is the rent we pay for living on this earth” (Muhammad Ali), I have worked tirelessly with farmers, youth, and scientists to bring local solutions to national challenges. Through my platform in the Miss Sierra Leone 2025 competition, I championed the Feed Salone initiative—reviving organic farming practices, building capacity in rural communities, and pushing for climate-smart agriculture that doesn’t destroy our soil, our health, or our future. I am a storyteller, a debater, and a builder of bridges between beauty, intellect, and activism. My national costume at Miss Sierra Leone told the story of Freetown’s Cotton Tree, slavery and freedom, resilience, and hope—because I believe fashion, like advocacy, should carry a message. “I don’t wait for the future. I prepare it.” Whether I’m organizing climate programs, engaging in diplomacy, or mentoring the next generation of girls, I stand for sustainable transformation and social impact. I am Lachaeveh Davies. I’ve taken the stage. Now I’m taking my place—among the changemakers.Joined at May 12, 2025
