The new "Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico", or Miss World Puerto Rico, comes from Manatí, a historical town on the island's northern coast, popular for its beaches, and part of the Porta Atlantico tourism district. The new Puerto Rican Miss World representative is Valeria Nicole Pérez, 22. She has a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in medical technology.
