From Rising Flame to Continental Force

Tamunosoye Karibi‑George did not arrive at Miss World 2026 as a sudden spark — she arrived as a flame that had been rising steadily for years.

Her journey began in Port Harcourt, where she first emerged as First Runner‑Up at the Miss Port Harcourt City Pageant in 2023, earning the Face of Port Harcourt title and launching her environmental campaign on sustainable waste management.

That early advocacy work became the foundation of her public identity. It carried her to Accra, Ghana, where she won Miss Africa International 2024, a continental victory that prepared her for global competition.

By June 2026, she stood on the Lagos stage at Balmoral Hall, crowned Miss World Nigeria 2026 — a title earned through discipline, communication excellence, and a clear humanitarian mission.

Her arrival in Vietnam for the 73rd Miss World Festival marked the beginning of a new chapter. She stepped into the competition not only as a model and communicator, but as a woman carrying the hopes of over 220 million Nigerians and the legacy of Agbani Darego’s historic 2001 win.
