The Elephant Parade is a global initiative that began in 2006, bringing life-sized baby elephant statues to cities around the world. Each elephant is hand-painted by artists, local talents, and public figures. These elephants are more than just art, they carry a powerful message: raising awareness and support for endangered Asian elephants. This edition in Nijkerk celebrated the Dutch flag with a red, white, and blue theme. I chose to represent the blue 💙 Proud to have been part of such a vibrant and meaningful event.
