Hello! My name is Charlotte Boonstra, and I’m a finalist for Miss World Netherlands. I’d love to tell you a little bit about what I do in my daily life! I work as a software developer, specializing in UI/UX and application architecture. That means listening to clients, understanding their processes and pain points, thinking through how different applications interact to meet business or user needs, and designing user-friendly, structured interfaces that align with the brand or sometimes doing a complete rebranding. I then bring these ideas to life by writing code, primarily using React and Next.js. One of my most recent projects was designing the user flow and web interface for the Surinam Times. Another fun project I’m currently working on is digitalizing the workflow for launching new housing projects for a major Dutch construction company. Beyond tech, I’m super passionate about making delicious and approachable vegan food. I post daily content showing how easy and fun plant-based eating can be. I love proving that you can live a vibrant, exciting life while eating clean and at the same time make a positive impact on the Sustainable Development Goals Climate Action and Life on Land. Living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t stop at eating clean. I also work out five times a week and aim for 10,000 steps a day. I genuinely love exercising because it keeps my body fit and my mind clear. As a Miss World NL finalist, I’m excited to combine my love for tech, health, and sustainability to inspire others to make conscious, impactful choices. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share that with the world through Miss World Netherlands.
